Infrared house

Our interactive infrared house will give you an insight into modern living with infrared radiation heat. Using concrete numbers, it highlights emphatically that Welltherm’s efficient infrared heaters can hold their own in a direct cost comparison with established heating systems like oil and gas, but also with heat pumps or pellet heating systems.

Slow electrical heating systems (night storage heaters) have long been a thing of the past! Infrared radiation heat is inexpensive and able to react flexibly to changing outside temperatures. Welltherm is synonymous with the feel-good warmth of a new heater generation.

Quality tested – a winner producing excellent results test after test

All Welltherm heaters are developed and produced at our main site in Lüdenscheid. The fact that our products are ‘Made in Germany’ not only makes us proud but also makes them stand out. Our heaters naturally meet all regulatory requirements as has been shown in numerous tests. Furthermore, we are always developing even more efficient systems and are constantly striving to further enhance our products. We are the market leader when it comes to efficiency – which is the result of ongoing and intensive research and development work.

CE

The CE marking is an administrative symbol for the European Single Market. It declares that the product to which it is affixed fulfils all the requirements for the EC directives for this product. The CE marking is essentially not a consumer mark. It serves first of all as an “EC passport” for a product and means that this product may be put on the market in every Member State within the EC. CE signals the compliance with requirements for the guarantee of safety as well as the protection of health and the environment.

VDE

The VDE certification mark for electrotechnical products is awarded by the German Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technology (VDE). It denotes conformity with VDE regulations or European or internationally harmonised standards and confirms compliance with the protection requirements of the applicable guidelines. The VDE mark certifies compliance with high safety standards for electronic devices, for example concerning electrical, mechanical and toxic aspects.

GS

The seal Safety Checked (GS mark) certifies a product ready for use that complies with the requirements of § 21 of the Product Safety Act (ProdSG). In contrast to the CE marking, the GS mark can be affixed voluntarily. It postulates a successful test, certifying that the product complies with the statutory requirements for product safety. The product subsequently undergoes regular controls. The test is conducted, for example, by the TÜV.

VDE EMC

Electrotechnical products must not only work properly and thus be safe and interference-resistant. They must also not influence any other devices while in operation or cause prohibited circuit feedback. The VDE-EMC mark confirms that the marked products fulfil all requirements set by the standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMV).

RoHS

RoHS is the abbreviation for “Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances”. The RoHS EC Directive serves to limit the use of certain hazardous substances in electric or electronic equipment. It regulates the use and placing on the market of hazardous substances in electric equipment and electronic building elements. This single market directive applies to all EC Member States.

Made in Germany

The designation Made in Germany is purely a designation of origin and was originally introduced at the end of the 19th century as a means of protection against imported or plagiarised goods. Fundamentally, the designation “Made in Germany” requires manufacture in Germany. Nowadays the seal is seen as a seal of approval. It confirms that the product is of a quality that conforms with German value concepts.
